The NSS Units 85&183 of Prajyoti Niketan College organized an orientation programme for first-year students on 16th November 2024. The session was held at the college auditorium, aiming to introduce the students to the values, objectives, and activities of the National Service Scheme (NSS).
The event commenced at 9:30 am with a warm welcome by the Ms. Naveena Nandanan, The orientation session was led by Mr. Byju Vaidhyakkaran, a distinguished JCC International Certified Trainer, known for his expertise in youth development and motivational training. Mr. Vaidhyakkaran’s session was highly interactive, blending inspirational stories, practical insights, and engaging activities to create a strong foundation for the students’ involvement in NSS. He elaborated on the core principles of NSS, emphasizing the motto “Not Me, But You,” which signifies the importance of selfless service and community engagement..
