Application Form

Eligibility: Candidates who have studied Psychology (BSc/BA) as main/core or related subjects like Human Development, Physiology or Statistics at undergraduate level from a recognized University and secured 50% marks in Core and Complementary papers are eligible.

Duration: 2 years (Four semesters)

MODE OF ADMISSION

Online: Apply through the PG admission portal of University of Calicut (http://cuonline.ac.in) and specify the college and course.

College Direct: In addition to Online registration, submit an application form in the college if you like to apply under Management Quota or Sports Quota. Cost of application form: Rs 100

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Prajyoti Niketan College is owned and administered by Prajyoti Niketan Registered Christian Charitable Society (Regd.No. 806/91). Though this college is a Christian institution, it is open to all irrespective of religion or caste. The University of Calicut introduced Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for admission to post graduate programmes in its affiliated colleges from the academic year 2013-2014 onwards. CAP offers the facility for online submission of a single application for admission to various PG programmes in the colleges affiliated to the University. CAP helps students to submit applications to affiliated colleges of their choice through simple online steps. This hassle-free process is time saving, cost effective and ensures transparency in admission. Applications should be directly submitted to the concerned college for admission to seats under to Management Quota and Sports Quota. Students belonging to Roman Catholic community should select Prajyoti Niketan College as Community College (through online) to be considered under community quota. After the introduction of the CAP by the affiliating University in 2013, the list of selected candidates is downloaded from the University website and displayed on the Notice board. The University notifies the dates for the different interviews through the newspapers, and the interviews are conducted accordingly.
