The Quiz Club of Prajyoti Niketan College instills the quest of wisdom and inquisitiveness in the minds of its members. Every year we used to conduct several interdeptal quiz contests. Every Wednesday the members used to assemble and eke out steps to improve their General Knowledge and knowledge in Current Affairs. Our students used to participate in several intercollegiate Quiz Competitions and bag prizes. Mr Antony Jaison (III BA English) and Ms Nina Ann Mathew (II BA English) were the student co-ordinators. Dr Simi Varghese, Associate Professor, Dept of Communication and Journalism is the Staff Co-ordinator. The activities of the Quiz Club was inaugurated on Nov 20, 2019 at 2.30 pm in the Assisi Hall by Dr Monsy Edward, Head, Dept of Psychology. Interdeptal Quiz Contest ‘PROVA II’ was conducted. Mr Antony Jaison (III BA English) was the Quiz Master. Nine teams participated.
The Quiz club activities of the year 2018-19 was flagged off with an interdeptal Quiz Contest ‘PROVA I’ held on Nov 13, 2018. Principal Dr Shaijan Paul inaugurated the activities of the Club for the academic year. NSS and Women’s Cell joined hands by organizing food festival and handicrafts exhibition.
