‘Seventh Art’, the newly formed Film and Theatre Club has been inaugurated by Mr Nikhildas Puranattukara (the renowned dramatist and the recipient of Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Acdemy Award in 2014 and 2015) on December 11, 2019, Wednesday at 2.30 pm in the Assisi Hall. Mr Nikhildas also bagged the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy Award for Best Director and Writer in 2019 for the play ‘Maali’. Mr Nikhildas handled a session on the ‘Art and Craft of Theatre’. It had been a rejuvenating experience for the participants. Milan P R, Amal Thomas, Anna Maria Kurian, Helna Jose, Agnus Michael, Ann Theres Laiju, Anupama Sreekumar, Albert Shaju, Jesvin Jees, Amal Chacko, Stanlee, Smrithy C S, Anjana and Denilson were the active members. Mr Milan P R is the student co-ordinator and Dr Simi Varghese, Associate Professor, Dept of Communication and Journalism is the staff co-ordinator.
