The other departments in Prajyoti Niketan College comprise Mathematics, Statistics, Physiology, Journalism, Political Science, Physical Education, Malayalam and Hindi. Malayalam and Hindi are being offered as Common Courses along with their Core and Complementary Courses.  Mathematics and Statistics are offered as Complementary Courses for BSc Computer Science. Physiology and Statistics are Complementary Courses of BSc Psychology.  Journalism and Political Science are Complementary Courses of BA English Language and Literature. At times, students choose any one of these subjects as their Main Course while pursuing higher education. (For eg:- certain students of BA English choose MA Mass Communication and Journalism or Political Science for their Post Graduation). Physical Education is offered as an Open course in V semester.
