The activities of the debate club of Prajyoti Niketan College was officially inaugurated by Mr Sreekrishnan Nambhoodiri, winner of Speakers Forum – national level competition organizedby Mathrubhoomi News Pvt Ltd on 5th December 2019. The debate on ‘Development Plans and Environment Can Not Co-exist’ had conducted on the same day. Mr Sreekrishnan had judged the debate competition and performed the role of moderator. The prizes were distributed to the winners.
Another debate on the topic ‘Films are reflections of the Society-Yes or No’ had also conducted on the same day. Debate club is the platform for the students to convey their ideas and opinions and to understand different dimensions of a social issue or policy. The students were participated in the competitions with great enthusiasm.
