The Commerce Association of Prajyoti Niketan College was formally inaugurated on 13 February 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
Prof. Dr. Vijayan P. K., Associate Professor and Head, PG and Research Department of Commerce and Management Studies, Sri C. Achutha Menon Government College, Thrissur, inaugurated the programme. The chief guest delivered a highly interactive and insightful talk on “Future Career Prospects for Commerce Students”, highlighting emerging opportunities, industry expectations, and diverse career pathways available to commerce graduates.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Alan Lukose, Head of the Department of Commerce. Prof. Dr. Simi Varghese, Principal, Prajyoti Niketan College, presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Renjith R., Association Director, and Ms. Vykhari S. Nair, College Chairperson.
Students of B.Com first year, second year, and third year actively participated in the programme, making the event lively and engaging.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Janaki Krishnan P., Association Secretary, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, dignitaries, faculty members, students, and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the event.
