Prajyoti Niketan is the ‘centre of supreme light’, a vision of Redeeming love that strives by its every breath and climbs to drive away from the many shadows, imbibing the values and teachings of our patron-saint, St. Francis of Assisi. Driving away the shadows is to bring the whole ray of sunshine, Prajyoti endeavours for a holistic approach and growth of all its members, to attain a wholeness of life, and through excellence in education, struggles for growth in universal wholeness.
Prajyoti wants all its children to imbibe value-oriented growth centring around self-respect, mutual respect and respect for elders. Through the grace of the Supreme Light, may they be sincere, obedient, punctual and responsible every step of their way. Through their learning at Prajyoti, may they grow up to be people who do good to others and not withhold it from the deserved.
Education is that which makes people free and selfless. University education is a prospect to learn and develop all things universal. Prajyoti aims to bring to its students, scholastic and co-scholastic growth and achievement. Prajyoti at its hilltop is the epitome and acme of success that transcends certificates. We, at Prajyoti aim to achieve spiritual and intellectual growth, thus liberating the soul and spreading the Light. Mahatma Gandhi asks us to ‘live as if you were to die tomorrow and learn as if you were to live forever.’
